Dr. Jacob DeVinney is a dedicated and compassionate dental professional committed to delivering the highest standard of care to his patients. With years of clinical experience and a strong focus on patient comfort and safety, Dr. DeVinney is continuing the Center for Advanced Dentistry’s tradition of excellence by fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for patients of all ages.
Before pursuing Dentistry, Dr. DeVinney proudly served six years in the United States Navy as an ENT Surgical Technician and Hospital Corpsman. Following his military service, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude from California State University, Dominguez Hills. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the esteemed Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
Dr. DeVinney remains committed to lifelong learning and regularly completes advanced training to stay at the forefront of dental technology and techniques. He offers a full range of services, including both adult and pediatric dental care, with a focus on clear communication, clinical excellence, and integrity.
Outside the office, Dr. DeVinney enjoys a full family life. His wife is a practicing Hospitalist at Stanford University Hospital and together they are raising two children—a high school senior and a high school freshman. He loves to cook, especially baked goods, and reads (listens to in the car) spy novels and monster thrillers.
Above all, Dr. DeVinney is passionate about creating a positive patient experience through personalized care, honest guidance, and a strong, collaborative team that puts patients first.
Our office is strategically positioned in San Jose, CA, along North Bascom Avenue, offering easy connectivity to major transportation routes and centrally accessible from neighboring communities.
